Counselor Fly-Ins!
Hi there everyone! This week is our counselor fly-in workshop. I will be proud to be one of the student ambassadors hosting these wonderful people from around the country. These are people who help you navigate the tricky world of colleges and the process which accompanies it. To me, they were an incredible help in choosing my school. Lucky for them, we will help educate them about the wonders of Evergreen and what opportunities are available for you as a student here at the college. If you have a college counselor at your school, or some sort of staff equivalent, I would highly suggest utilizing their services. Tomorrow, I will be taking those who are joining us here in Olympia on a tour of the school and spending some time with them in the evening talking to them, explaining to them what it is like to be a student here. I’m very excited! If you are interested in Evergreen, you should ask your counselor about it and see what they have to say!
I’d also like to take this opportunity to clarify that the May 11th Freshman Advising Day is not mandatory. However, if it is convenient for you to come to campus on that day, please do! Registration for students with freshman standing begins at 3pm Pacific Time. If you can’t make it, you can still register online. To know your registration time ticket please activate your my.evergreen.edu account so that you can get updates about registration, housing or other important deadlines. Have a great week!
