One conclusion I have drawn from this class is that people no matter who they are or where they are, are capable of some damn mean shit.
One thing that stands out through these texts is the overbearing importance of a home, a place where you are not other.
Being ostracized by society and even in some cases your own community forces new avenues to be created to forge an identity and place for yourself.
Also if no one had figured it out by now, the affects of colonialism has shown it’s feathers in every single text we have read within the quarter.
Really going to make sure it is stated clearly in my paper but every human needs a home.
