I’m Jane, a PNW native from Kirkland in King County. (I don’t say “I’m from Seattle!” anymore because people get mean when they find out I mean I’m from the little town across the lake. Don’t be mean, c’mon.

I’m a senior at Evergreen, having transferred here after getting my AA degree at Bellevue College, and a brief stint as a massage therapist in Bothell. I’m a visual artist as well as an aspiring comedian (who mostly makes myself chuckle when trying to stave off a emotional breakdown).

I’m very interested in language and education, which is why I’m particularly interested in learning more about Asian American Cross-currents in our culture. After graduating I’m hoping to study abroad to further my foreign language skills and hopefully learn more about a possible future as a teacher.
