This past week has make me think about the simplistic view of APIA’s and the complex view of APIA’s. When people say “Asian American”, the simplistic way of viewing it is anybody with chinky eyes and high yellow skin. On the contrary, the more complex view of the term “Asian American” is to break down each race it categorizes such as, Chinese, Japanese, Koreans, Filipino, East Indian, Mongolian, Vietnamese and etc.
