Final Thoughts: Vietnamese American
- Operation Babylift brought many children to the U.S, but not parents, families separated
- The mass migration of Vietnamese via boat, harsh journey equivalent to the Atlantic Slave Trade
- The first wave of Vietnamese migrants received more support compared to later waves
- Vietnamese cuisine is heavily inspired by French cuisine
- The dialogue in the reading had no quotation marks, perhaps infers to internal dialogue rather than external speech
