LA GRANDE, Ore. – After helping the Evergreen Geoducks earn eighth place in the final Cascade Conference standings, midfielders Leah Aragon (Colorado Springs, Colo./UC-Colorado Springs) and Sophie Krauza (Las Vegas, Nev./Centennial HS) have been named Honorable Mention All-CCC as announced by the conference office on Monday.
Appearing in all 14 games for the Geoducks, both Aragon and Krauza provided leadership to the green and white this season. Krauza finished the year with one goal and two assists while Aragon earned one goal during the 2012 campagin.
Stephanie Carr of Southern Oregon was named Offensive Player Year while Concordia’s Jenna Peterson and Northwest’s Stephanie Cummins shared Defensive Player of the Year. Concordia freshman Alicia Alarcon-Evans earned Newcomer of the Year while Northwest’s Erin Redwine earned Coach of the Year after leading the Eagles to the CCC regular season title in her seventh season.
