Below are (a) a bibliography (partial) of the immense literature surrounding Chernobyl and other issues in energy and nuclear power, and (b) selected files from the bibliography in pdf format.  These selected files will be useful reading for the Study Trip to Chernobyl.

I don’t have a pdf file of the book by Zhores Medvedev, The Legacy of Chernobyl (1992).  Although the book is now quite old, it’s still readily available at low cost through Amazon or other booksellers.  It’s written by a Russian dissident biologist, and presents a very readable, comprehensive view of the accident.  I recommend it as a fundamental piece to prepare for the trip.

I have pdf files of many of the other articles.  Write me at perkinsj@evergreen.edu if you’d like me to send you anything else from the list.

The bibliography is a work in progress.  Please send me additional items for inclusion.
