The Lost Language of Plants

Author Stephen Harrod Buhner touches on many different concepts and information within his book “The Lost Language of Plants: The Ecological Importance of Plant Medicines to Life on Earth.” However the ideas I found most interesting and relevant to my ILC work involved how the consumption of pharmaceuticals is slowly killing the planet, how education is viewed as the most valued skill a person could have and therefore is creating a bias hierarchy, and how plants contain such significant healing abilities when consumed by the sick or injured.
