Dear Kathmandu Buddhist Monks,
I have never seen you up close and in person before and I thought for some reason it would be hard to find you. I have seen you in many places other than in Stupas here in Nepal. I always imagine you as an aged, wise man, wrapped in orange cloth, shaved head, tender eyes, living in peace and meditation up in the Himalayan Mountain Tops… That was clearly an assumption based off of like one movie.
In fact, I see you young, old, male or female, shaved head, wrapped in maroon colored traditional cloth walking freely through the streets of Kathmandu City. I am happy to have found and see you many times even in prayer, surrounded by the smoke of incense at Swaymbhunath.
Until next time Kathmandu Buddhist Monks, good day.
