To the people who shaped who I am today,
Yes it’s true! I turned twenty-four years young yesterday. Wow, over the hill and down the other side. To be honest I don’t feel any older. Though I wasn’t expecting to anyways. Most all of my dear Friends and Family called, e-mailed, or facebooked me. It sure does feel good to hear from all of the people in your life who LOVE you. I am not a religious person, but at 3:15pm on December 9th (the time/day I was born) I sat down in my bedroom and made a prayer for all of those who have been with me through it all. From the good to the bad to the down right ugly. I reminisced all day about different moments in my life that made me the individual I am today at 24. Though my life has just begun, there are countless things that will remain with me no matter what happens to me in the future. From my memories of day care as a little one, to the times I spent in France growing up. From my high school days at Nathan Hale (Seattle, WA) as well as the four years at The Evergreen Sate College (Olympia, WA) and all of the life experiences in between. It’s hard for me to regret anything, even the bad times because of the lessons that will guide me the next time a similar situation arises.
I look forward with ambition at the coming years of my life. While looking backwards in thanks for all that my Friends and family have done for and with me in the blink of an eye that twenty-four years has been.
I LOVE each and everyone of you who have touched my life. If you are not with me now, may we meet again soon.
Sincerely,
Julian G.
