Betsy C. is a very special Producer, indeed. She is the first person to submit to our blog! ::bells, whistles, and tom-toms ablaze::
So, let us celebrate by giving her the first Producer Profile here! On our BLOG!
Betsy C. is a current student at the Evergreen State College. She submitted her first work (The “Geo”Duck on January 20th of 2012. Her interests include, “Reading, Internet, [and] Cooking weirdly”, which is an exact quote from the groovy lady herself.
Her two most influential programs were Looking at Animals (spring of 2011), Film and Gender (summer of 2011), and BOOK TORRENT *applause* (fall 2011-present). Discussion about these programs, or themes from them, could have/would have AND SHOULD go in the comments. Really, it would be fun.
So, dear Reader, if you have questions, comments, or cookies for Betsy you can post them in the comments or even “blow up her figurative phone-phone” at her BOOK TORRENT *applause* blog HERE. It is about life at Evergreen! What a great resource!
A N D * H O W!
As a final statement, a word from Betsy C. ,
“We could always use more art, yeah?”
I do believe so, Betsy.
Respect and Affinity.
This post is for all of the fool of a Took Borrenters.
As I mentioned in seminar, I foraged a satchel full of useful sites for wordpress help/manipulation. I bequeath it onto thee, my peers. Please put any personal contributions into the comments.
Respect and Affinity,
Jean

http://digwp.com/archives/ : Digging into wordpress archive (useful search tools)
http://wpcandy.com/ : WordPress Candy; I picked out some particularly interesting articles for you all to sort through at your leisure. Maybe post ones that you all find useful in the comments?

http://www.wprecipes.com/ : Very technical non-beginner stuff. I can not make head nor tail of it, but maybe it takes more searching.
http://www.wptavern.com/ : Seems more forum/podcast based? Interactive. Sadly, there is no evidence a beer tap plugin for those of us who are of age.
http://themeshaper.com/ : “Hey Bro! Where can I learn more about themes?” says Frank “Well,” starts Oliver, “I certainly think Theme Shaper is valid site. Check it out, chicken roost.” Frank is thankful, albeit confused.
http://wpengineer.com/ : So dense that it could be an award winning chocolate cake recipe.
http://ottopress.com/ : Seems good.
Betsy’s words on her work: “A “Geo” emphasized geoduck for the website my class is working on.”
This piece was created with materials that are under Creative Commons. The work, itself, is published as such.
Thank you, Betsy, for our first post.

Jamie Blake made music during the summer quarter of 2011. I am using him as an example now. Wheeeee.
