- What happens when colonized people and refugees are disenfranchised from their languages and how may this impact society today? (Consider the social psychology readings from past quarters.)

Pick 2 quotes (4 minutes): Pick 2 favorite quotes from the Yildiz reading to close read. (3 to 4 minutes)
Discuss Kafka (20 minutes)
Close read Yildiz while synthesizing with Kafka (1 hour)
