Literature

• As you probably already know, Project Gutenberg has like a bajillion ebooks from the public domain in several formats.
LibriVox is the Project Gutenberg of the audiobook world, which makes it a valuable resource.
Luminarium is an online encyclopedia of English literature through the 18th century, which includes excellently annotated primary texts as well as secondary sources.
Victorian Web has some great secondary sources on Victorian literature, which essentially picks up where Luminarium leaves off.

History

• As one might expect, History.com is an invaluable study aid for history. It’s basically a huge yet succinct encyclopedia.
• The University of Houston has a comprehensive list of Guided Readings in American history as a part of their digital history project.

Philosophy

• This awesome website, Early Modern Texts, edits down and annotates the works of a selection of philosophers to be more easily understandable.
• There is no explanation necessary for the Internet Encyclopedia of Philosophy.
