For my final project I’m doing a study on Kim Mitman, “the mad poet,” a brilliant poet who I’ve become acquainted with who struggles with bipolar disorder. For my first shoot with her I went to Kim’s home, talked with her a bit, and shot some photos around her apartment. In the project I want to be sure to discuss the things that keep Kim afloat–her faith, her friends, her medication, and her writing.
