Hello, my name is Isabella Timmons. I am a student at the The Evergreen State College studying natural science. I have my undergraduate in marine biology, and am continuing my Masters of Environmental Studies in the field of aquatic ecology. I am passionate about the environment and have an adventurous side that leads me to some beautiful and remote places. I ski, hike, climb, swim, and spend any free time I have devoted to running. I enjoy working, school, and keeping myself busy finding adventure wherever I can. This blog is a place for me to combine academics with my personal adventures. In my personal experience business and pleasure have overlapped and intertwined too often to separate completely. I hope my posts are as inspiring and motivating to seek and grow, as they are for me to write them. I am excited to be able to share my experiences on this platform.

• I love the ocean.  Marine environments are mystical and I believe there is a lot to learn about our seas.
• I love running more than most people.
• I make bread, and enjoy sharing it more than eating it.
• I love jam sessions.
• I have a soft spot for amphibians.
• I love being a student.
• Washington has been my home for my entire life, and yes the rain is a lot but its also the most comforting.
• I enjoy reading and writing, especially poetry.
