Simultaneously Hit

Simultaneously Hit is a multifaceted project created not to tell a story but to share an experimental experience. The final product will be an instillation, a circus tent explosion, featuring visuals and audio. This is a faux-autobiographical project.
The visual piece is reminiscent of memory and play. The editing is equally important to the actual shot footage, and will play with a lot of split screen and creative visual layering. The shoots will be set up portrait and home video style, with controlled, experimental lighting techniques, assisted by my director of photography, Elise Harper.
The audio piece will be a soundtrack comprised of rap n trash pop (low budget pop). This piece is meant to be abrasive, real and fun. I will be collaborating with my friendz Marti Kuki n Special K.
This is made for my peers and my friends; young adults who are fucking up, learning, and trying to correctly deal with life as it comes. Living in the age of entertainment, I believe my instillation will be unusual and experimental; a treat 4 the eyes n the ears.
The stories I tried 2 stick with are all dead now and my installation has become relevant to times here n now. This project is all about experiments and learning. The installation is called Simultaneously Hit, ’cause I think of life like that, things don’t wait their turn to happen to you.
