KAOS is celebrating 40 years on the air in many ways, but one big project for us this year is creating a compilation album of recordings from in-studio performances from throughout the past 40 decades.

And we need your help!

We’re looking for any recordings of in-studio performances on KAOS since we began broadcasting on January 1, 1973!  Are you a current or former DJ who has saved copies of live performances and interviews from your show?  Do you have a recording from when your band played on the station?  Did your pen-pal send you a cassette tape of a band you love playing on KAOS?  If you have any piece of KAOS’ audio history stored away that you wouldn’t mind sharing with us, we’d love to hear from you!
