Transportation Information
Lab Manager 2013 will be held at The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington.
Olympia is 68 miles South of Seattle, and is the Capitol of Washington State.
Home to 48,000 residents, Olympia is nestled among the edge of the Puget Sound
and features easy access to the finest Northwest outdoor activities, from hiking to lattes.
GETTING TO OLYMPIA:
CAR: Olympia is about an hour South of Seatte’s SeaTac airport by (rental) car. It’s a straight drive down Interstate 5 South.
SHUTTLE: Shuttle Bus Information from SeaTac International Airport
BUS: Intercity transit serves Olympia, WA and will link up with other transit organizations from Seattle South.
TRAIN: Amtrac operates the rail lines near Olympia, WA. The Olympia Train Station is far from town, but is connected via Intercity Transit.

GETTING AROUND OLYMPIA:
Intercity Transit Buses: There will be no shuttle bus service provided by the conference, however our award winning local transit company operates two bus lines that service The Evergreen State College. Both Route 41 and 48 service Downtown stops to and from the campus, with short wait times.
Olympia Car Rental: Budget operates a rental fleet in downtown Olympia on Plum Street.

Parking – There is ample parking available on the Evergreen campus and the conference will be covering the costs. Just roll up to the parking booth and tell them you are with the “labmanager conference” and they’ll give you a pass.
