Cheri has taught in fields of Constitutional Law/Legislative Policy/Environmental and Public Health at the Evergreen State College (since 1994) & previously at the University of Montana, Missoula. She served as faculty and Affirmative Action Programs Administrator prior to this at both the California State University, Sacramento and the University of Hawaii, Kauai College as described by her vita (attached). With dissertation study was on “The Tuberculin Epidemic and the Structure of Public Institutions, Cheri’s undergraduate degree was in art – specifically oil and acrylic painting and drawing.
There are examples of the art works that she has most recently completed for showing on Sustainability & Justice (oil on canvas, attached) as well as Moodle sites of courses most recently taught on topics ranging from Legislative Internships to Energy Systems within Environmental Law and Health. Cheri has written and taught several programs on Western Water Law and the Winters’ Doctrine (included under Teaching History) working as Educational Director at The Land Institute and completing year-long endowed projects on minority issues and toxins at the University of Wisconsin; the University of Maryland and Fulbright study in Mexico & Chile.
