Mark has written for stage, film and television. He co-authored with Bob Berky (and directed) The Power Project (Antic Variations) in the NEXT WAVE Festival at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. Film credits include At Night the Sun Shines (co-authored with Guillermo Real), which premiered at the Director’s Guild of America in Los Angeles and was featured in a number of festivals, including Aspen, Miami and the LA International FilmFest at the American Film Institute. For two years, Mark was a staff writer and producer for the New York PBS affiliate, WNET. His writing projects at WNET included short features for such luminaries as Elaine Stritch, Roberta Peters, Miss Piggy and Placido Domingo. Other public television credits: the screenplay of Ty Cobb (from a poem by William Packard), which was adapted and produced based his stage production at St. Clement’s Theatre in New York. His newest screenplay, Artifact, is currently under consideration for production in Los Angeles.
