Halloween

I hope y’all had a great Halloween. I know I did! After spending the last couple of days putting together a college-budget costume for me and mon petit-ami Adam (we went as Max and a Wild Thing- specifically Carol) I met up with Shirley to get do last minute stuff, plus hair and make-up.

We all went downtown to the Capitol Theater for NIGHT OF THE LIVING TRIBUTE BANDS, a pretty spectacular throw-down, the likes of which included The B52s, Judas Priest (who rode a motorcycle on stage), The Runaways (my personal favorite by far), the Yardbirds and Faces. It was a lot of fun to go to the Capitol Theater (which usually functions as a movie theater) and dance up in the front of the stage.

Outside the Capitol Theater around 10:30pm Thrill the World, performed Thriller on the blocked off streets around the theater.  Right before they started performing there were a bunch of people just hanging out on the street, it was really cool since everyone was dressed up in their costumes.  Overall it was a pretty awesome Halloween, especially the Raspberry Chocolate Vegan cupcake from Sizizis Café.
