Yesterday the U.S. Senate passed a three-week stop-gap budget bill with a vote of 87-13. The bill will fund the federal government through Apirl 8 and contains an additional $6 billion in reductions.

The U.S. House passed the bill earlier this week. The bill now goes to President Obama for his signature.
