I’m thinking of coming to Evergreen for college (I’m in 11th grade) but I’m from the Philly area, so far away! So, is it possible to stay at Evergreen over the summer/winter/spring breaks, since its expensive to go back and forth across the country
You can rent a room in college housing over the summer, or you can sublet a room on the West Side of Olympia, which a lot of students do. You are allowed to stay in college housing during spring break, but not winter break. Winter break is about three weeks long, so you would either have to go home, stay with relatives or friends, or sublet a room for that time. I think it’s definitely do-able, though! Lots of students live in the area around Evergreen, so staying with a friend would probably be your best bet for the three weeks when you have to be out of the dorms.
