20th Biennial Evergreen International Phage Meeting
An international planning committee is currently making detailed plans for the 20th Evergreen Phage Meeting, which will be held Aug. 4-9, 2013. As usual, the meeting will formally beginning with a BBQ gathering starting about 2 PM on the 4th, with keynote talks followed by a gathering in the poster room that evening. The final formal session will end about 6:30 PM on the 8th. Friday Aug. 9, the usual day trip to Mt. Rainier is planned. The registration fee will cover dorm rooms and most meals from Aug. 4 until Aug. 9. Some rooms in the dorm will be available starting Aug. 2 and going until Aug. 11, by prior arrangement. Online registration is expected to be available starting in February, by which time the precise registration fees for students, academics and corporate participants will have been determined; they should be fairly similar to those for the 2011 meeting. There will be some funds to support registration fees, primarily for students and for participants from underdeveloped countries; applications for such assistance should be turned in at least by April 1, as should requests for support letters for visa applications and draft abstracts if you want to be considered for giving an oral presentation. The amount of such support available will depend on the success of our various fundraising efforts.

The detailed schedule for the 2011 meeting is up on the Meetings section of the web page; we expect the general pattern, which has evolved over many meetings, to be quite similar for this next meeting. May 1st: Early registration ends and the cost of registration increases by $50 for students and $100 for general and corporate applicants.
May 15th: Deadline for draft abstracts to be considered for oral presentations and/or financial support.
May 24th: Deadline for paying either the full registration cost or a minimum non-refundable $100 deposit to guarantee your spot in registration. If you are still waiting for approval for funding or a visa application you can delay paying the registration or deposit fee but please inform us at email@example.com before the date.
Oral presentations are still being decided.
July 1st: Deadline for accepting final drafts of abstracts and will be submitted to our abstract book. Registration fees must be paid in full. If you’re still awaiting funding approval or visa requests please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org so we can make alternate arrangements.

Even if you are unable to attend the meeting you can still submit an abstract for a poster and it can still be displayed at the poster sessions.
