  5. As an alumni who can no longer share the wonder of the first day at Evergreen, and especially the new students’ first day on our beautiful campus, I sincerely appreciate these photos. I hope that more photos like these will be available throughout the year. Wonderful job!

  7. Excellent work! The Photoland motto sums it up really well: “You make Evergreen look good.” The photographs of happy students moving into the dorms are so heartwarming, parents of Evergreen freshman would LOVE this. The music behind the dialogue adds wonderful depth and emotional value. Great coverage of the whole week: from housing orientation and seminar, to working in the organic garden and making new friends. Good eye for detail- Top Ramen and the “Naked Roommate” book. I love the dirty hands and bare feet- it’s so completely Evergreen. You gotta love it. That’s why we’re proud to be Greeners!

  9. These slideshows are great for parents like me who wonder what their kids’ lives at Evergreen are like. Wish all colleges would have them—-keep’em coming!
