The Evergreen Fund for Innovation supports pioneering efforts by members of the Evergreen community to develop initiatives that will shape the College’s future. The Fund has supported a variety of projects that made vital contributions to the college since former president Jane Jervis launched its endowment in 1996.

The College will award up to six Fund for Innovation grants this coming fall. Awards may range from $10,000 to $35,000.  Proposals that (1) create and pilot curricular innovations or other initiatives with potential for broader application to enhance student learning and retention; or (2) advance the work envisioned in the Academic Statement and Mentoring Proposal passed by a faculty resolution in November 2011 are being solicited.  Applications are  due October 1.
