I am on Team Valor in Pokemon GO. Something I like about Evergreen is that there is a plethora of Poke Stops and Gyms around campus. I even caught a CP 1465 Aerodactyl during the Ground/Rock type event that lasted the last week of Spring Quarter by building Sem II.

With the new update, several Poke Stops have been converted to Gyms which is nice; 3 of them are centered around the library, one is by the entrance to the school (by the Welcoming Woman). Seeing how I work in the library building, it is very easy for me to check on my pokemon in the Gym and giving them berries to up their motivation.

It is especially nice out this week so on my break today I walked around campus catching a Nidorina, Ledyba, and Cyndaquil. Going downtown is great, there are so many Poke Stops, you can sit at a restaurant and put up a Lure Module coupled with an Incense and a Lucky Egg, which will allow you to level up quickly! Don’t forget to incubate your eggs too!

There are plenty of students who play around campus so don’t be surprised if the Gyms are already full!
