Synergy: Participate!
“How can we make the world work for 100 percent of humanity in the shortest possible time through spontaneous cooperation without ecological damage or disadvantage to anyone?”
This question was asked by Buckminster Fuller, an early environmental activist who remained optimistic for the future of humanity. He knew that the ideal world would include everybody. He introduced synergistics, the study of systems in transformation and the behavior of whole systems unpredicted by the individual actions.
The goal of the Synergy Conference is to provide opportunities for a synergistic path towards sustainability through education, action, dialogue, and celebration. This year marks Evergreen’s twelfth annual sustainable living conference and will take place May 8-10, 2013.
The program for the conference has been posted, and details will be posted as they become available.
The Synergy Conference is free and open to the public. If you have any questions please e-mail cleanenergy@evergreen.edu.
