Week 6! Take a look ahead…
On Sunday I went to Bellevue to interview my mom and redo my interview with Mindy. But, Mindy decided to act like the 13 year old that she is and refuse to do her interview. Oh well. I did two interviews with my mom, one outdoor, one indoor. I told her the things I was going to be asking her, but when she started talking, she just weaved them all together. So most of each interview has barely any questions from me in it. She told stories of how she got into foster care, what each child has been like, issues of racism she’s encountered, problems with the system, positives of the system, and why people should become involved in foster care.
On Wednesday, I attended the DVD Studio Pro workshop.
On Thursday, at our affinity group meeting, I shared clips from raw footage of my mom’s interview. My group members commented that it was very engaging.
I redid my production schedule and annotated bibliography.
I should probably put an artist statement together for this film at some point…
