Our group tasted many delicious coffee drinks throughout our coffee field studies. The general favorite drink tasted was the seasonal holiday blend at Batdorf and Bronson. Their seasonal holiday blend is an all around crowd pleaser during these damp, chilly months. The blend is a mixture of coffee beans from Nicaragua, Guatemala and Kenya. This coffee has a toasty and roasted flavor with every sip that is complimented by warm baking spices. Though, those are the flavors people won’t general enjoy on a bright summer morning. The most prominent flavor that shines through this winter drink is flowery fruit tones. As the coffee cooled the flavors turned to roasted nuts. Overall, Batdorf’s holiday blend holds all the necessary elements for a cozy and festive beverage during the winter months.
