A Pacific Northwest Outdoor Kitchen

During The month of may Silas will be working on A Pacific Northwest Outdoor KitchenSilas will read from two texts, Building With Cob: a Step-by-Step Guide and Building Outdoor Kitchens for Every Budget, writing 500 page papers for each text read. While the silas is researching he will draw up a design plan for their kitchen. He will then begin building the kitchen using reused material and cob. Silas will construct a fire pit with grilling capability, a cob oven, a large counter space and a sink with running water. He will document the building process with notes, pictures and a short film.

To build a small outdoor kitchen that will be suffecient for local food sourced meals. I will begin building a kitchen from the knowledge silas have gained. He will building a fire pit with sufficient seating and grill top cooking using reused material and cob. Silas will then build a cob oven. He will finish the project with a counter and sink that has running water constructed from reused material. Silas will update their website weekly with field notes, pictures, video footage of the process and activity logs.
