Favorite Tea Tasted
Runa Guayusa tea may have very easily been my favorite tea thing tasted, for a variety of reasons. The loose leaf tea was powerfully and was very quick to awaken my senses with the strong scent of sage and lavender. The scent was very pleasant; something that would have had to be smelled several times in order to take in all the complex aromas that occurred. This tea had a very savory and naturally sweet flavor and scent. Immediately as I tasted the tea, I was enlightened, and sent on a journey bursting with flavors of fruitiness and lavender with a hint of sage. Each sip was warming and made me feel energized. No one flavor overpowered another, and the all twisted together giving off a full, bold, zesty, and sweet fruit flavor. This was my favorite taste because of how delicious and full bodied the tea was. I had never tasted this tea before, and was thoroughly impressed with each sip. There were no bitter aftertones, and each sip left a warming gentle taste on my tongue.
