Olympia- Heritage Park

Walking up to the Heritage park on this early evening where people stroll about the loop in the capitol district of Olympia, WA. Ducks swim in the water here and birds fly about the sparse trees. Grass lines the park and a circular path exists which goes around Capital lake. Today there are many people here, the main attraction at this park. They walk in bunches or alone, with dogs on leases or babies in strollers. They talk, sing, sit, gather, enjoying the day or maybe just taking a break from stressful lives. It’s interesting how we walk this way. How odd humans are to all stroll in a circle, no aim intended just circular walking with nothing to do. The nature that was here has been destroyed so we could do this. In its place lawns and streetlamps and benches and bathrooms all fill the place that is now filled with all the human nature.
