OLYMPIA “PRESENT” POST HERITAGE PARK

Heritage park fun less busy, certainly emptier but I feel almost brighter. Maybe because day is very bright and very young. Cant shake this summer feeling. By 4th ave. All the cars zoom by. It is hot already. Green green lazy brown grass small soil deep. it smells more like grass today. I know it is. Definitely a better smell But also gas and automobiles pile up being me. Despite this it seems peacefull But work also goes on and don’t want to mess with all of that stuff that definitely has some great meaning to it but I can’t understand.

As I step now closer to water it smells more like a Lake. Not just an old manmade thing but something has lost of algea and ducks and all sorts of life floating around. It is really quite a place. Bugs more bugs, even in this mid day sun and heat. It gets sticky. More people walking. Now it seems like a school day place. An old hometown area. Lots of moms walking and dogs as well.

Over on south west side of park by other bathrooms. People sit, red bricks of building, I m on picnic benches feeling glee but earth is smelling strong. Lots more grass and goodness and worms speak loud with ducks behind and parking lot is becoming more full. this is all quite nice. All nice and going to become what is to be But yellow grass too and blue pond or lake with more ducks for sure. Less people are right in front of running and I feel more at peace with all of this. Its not too bad once you get into it. i like the feeling of this place. My lack of history pretense makes me question this place but it seems to be built out of some major reason regarding the city’s well being. It is prideful and good for people coming here.
