Seeing vs. Experiencing
While a camera can and has truly captured many amazing things these pictures, there are so many more outside of these two dimensions.
While it can get pretty close, a picture can’t fully express what it means and feels like to be in a place.
The experience of looking at pictures/videos of a place and spending time in a place are two entirely different things in my opinion.
Both of them are wonderful but just different. You can hear all the stories and see all the photos but nothing really compares to being present and experiencing all of your senses in the moment.
