Graffiti in the Train Tunnel (Weeks 3-6)
I had never ventured into this end of the train tunnel before. Numerous times I’ve gone into the opposite end near the Track House when the bathrooms there were out of order.
What a stark difference my experience of the tunnel is to that of a regular, as in someone who lives there. This thought never crossed my mind as I squatted in the brush, only now. I can come and go as I please, others, cannot.

Addiction is a disease, not a choice.
Graffiti is a choice, not an addiction.
Graffiti is art, underrated and demonized. Made by those on the outskirts of society.
Who might just live in this tunnel.
That you drive over to get your coffee.
Or go to the capitol to legislate policy against homeless people.
Who knows.
Addiction is not a choice. Art is a choice. Ignorance is a choice.
