Place in Question Port Plaza Park

There are plenty of interesting places in Olympia. I am interested in Port Plaza Park. I decided on this place because I have always liked being near the water and it is also within the future water line, meaning it will be underwater in the future. I find the irony in someplace that gives us easy access to water, being underwater hilarious to an extent that I need to learn more about it. By looking into the past, I can see how this park formed and use that information to compare to the present. With that information, I can attempt to look into the future. Future-sight is a gift I do not personally hold. But with the information that I will gain after spending more time at the site and researching the past of the site, I should have a good handle on the area and be able to make good predictions of the future of this park.

This plant was covering the ground below the trees and the colors mixed well when the pink leaves of the trees would fall onto the solid green leaves.

There was a small bridge, which had this downed tree under it. It was fenced off, leading me to believe that the water normally reached up to around that height.
