Over the weekend, the Geoducks traveled to Oregon for their first Cascade Collegiate Conference road trip of the season. On Friday evening, Evergreen State was in Eugene, OR to compete against The Beacons of Northwest Christian University. Again, the Geoducks were victorious in four games, winning by the scores of 25-20, 19-20, 25-23 and 25-23. Defensively, four Geoducks reached double figures in digs, led by Petkus’ 20, Garcia’s 16, and 13 each from Mitchell and Tori Foss (Fr., McKenna, WA). As a team, the Geoducks edged the Beacons in digs 65-58 for the match.
Saturday evening presented the Geoducks’ next opponent in Corban University from Salem, OR.
