I have most recently submitted my sound design for film final project(s) in which I took on recreating all the audio for two movie trailers. The two of choice: Watchmen & [a modernized trailer version of] Big Trouble In Little China. There are two versions of each available on youtube (by clicking this figure: ‡ ); one version is just the sound fx, foley and dialogue and the other includes music (for a nice, well rounding off). The music in the Watchmen trailer may seem familiar to you -ULTRA WINK- Here are the “final” versions of both.

At this moment in time, there isn’t a whole lot to report and I’m terrible about keeping this updated (only because I’m preferable in accumulating fascinating projekts and experiences before divulging them unto peanut galleries). Recently, I’ve been collecting sound (such as semi trucks, broken glass, squirrel mastication…) for a couple current sound design projects. That’s all gravy and what-have-you, but I believe the most important discovery I have made this week deals with Spartan warrior noise makings, the theory of evolution and Japanese cinematic starring my favorite powerhouse. (Also, for those of you whom didn’t understand the post title: a.k.a. “killing time”. Chew that over with Twix™.)
