“both African Americans, a race more predominantly found in the game of basketball, as well as Asian Americans, both concluded with the same struggle of finding “cultural acceptance—on and off the sports field.” It’s incredible how similar these two races become in the light of fame from skill or as a group of people that many others envy to be/look up to. Both can be seen as underdogs due to conditions they had to go through in their lifetime in order to get to the place they are now.”
other minorities really relate because discrimination is spread through out the nations of brown and other colored skins. we can change that by changing how we accept and relay our cultures and other cultures. this is often done by first understanding that we must accept ourselves in order to accept others with a whole heart. that perspective allows one to be themselves, opening a door of unlimited potential to become the greatest version of themselves. that little gesture would create tsunami waves of change through out the world. change starts with you and then the world will follow.
