I don’t have much more research to show at this point. I’m pretty happy with the music I’ve been able to listen to, and the circle back to my own life. At this point with my essay about Asian American Jazz, I’m in the assembling and editing phase. I’ve got all of the puzzle pieces I just need to put them in the correct order. However, after reading my peers essays and reflecting on what I’ve offered, I feel like I need to connect back to my personal experiences more. Over Thanksgiving Break I’m going to take the extra time to really go through my essay and get it ready for the final round of peer editing.
