Hi, how are you?

My name is Brett. I’m a senior mostly focusing on Cultural Studies, Pop Culture Studies and American Studies. I enjoy consuming popular culture, and thinking long and hard about it afterwards. Hopefully one day I can channel that passion into a dissertation on “Total Eclipse of the Heart” by Bonnie Tyler, but I’m not holding my breath.

I’m here to present and analyze my scattered thoughts from our study on Asian American/Pacific Islander history and pop culture, and to try to work out what my idea of “home” is and the crosscurrents it could have with the aforementioned topics.
