I’m not big into sports, so I never really thought about how marketable athletes were until you brought it up. They’re like other celebrities too, appearing in commercials and serving as role models for many youths. I know Ichiro made a big impression on me as a child for being Asian-American. I look forward to seeing how you examine Ichiro’s initial obstacles as an Asian-American to becoming one of the most iconic baseball players of his time.
