Fungal endophyte influences leaf litter decomposition – Undergraduates Emily Wolfe, Kate Halstead, and Margaret Pryor explored fungal endophyte effects on decomposition and microbial colonization.

Within-species genetic diversity and aquatic ecosystem function – In the US Southwest we examined the effects of leaf litter diversity on aquatic decomposition and macroinvertebrate community structure (LeRoy et al. 2006, 2007, 2012).
