In Chinese and other traditional cultures Darkness is celebrated before the coming of Light. In Daoism, SAN GUAN (Third Principle) celebrates the phenomena of darkness and rain.
Our Holiday Concert in celebration of Darkness and Light was on Saturday, December 5th, 2009, at 4 pm, in the United Churches, in Olympia. The concert featured the story of Innana’s Decent into Darkness and works of Schubert.
