By building the biogas facility in the midst of a city well known for its multitude of diverse cuisines, they’re establishing convenient networks to transfer food-waste from post-consumer to its final resting place: the digester in the biogas production facility.

Description:

Propel provides biodiesel and Flex Fuel (E85) in the Seattle area as well as in northern and southern California.  Flex Fuel (E85) is a clean-burning mixture of 85% ethanol (derived from fermented starch and sugars) and 15% gasoline.  The biodiesel product is made from sustainable resources such as vegetable oil waste and soybean oil and is compatible with every diesel engine.

Puget Sound Energy

Puget Sound Energy is a local energy company called based in Bellevue. This company has a great program that allows customers to buy local energy from nearby green or alternative fuel producers. If you purchase by the block, you can buy 160 kW at the cost of two dollars, or you could purchase an 800 kW monthly block for 12 dollars. The Green Power program is great.
