The Climate Trust

Conservation Northwest

Conservation sequesters Carbon and deforestation is a major cause of climate change conservation northwest aims to conserve wild spaces. On their website they state “ today they are ensuring the region is wild enough to support wildlife, from wolves to grizzly bears to mountain caribou. We work with local communities on forest restoration, creating sustainable timber jobs and wilderness protection. Clackamas County Weatherization is a group that makes home more energy efficient for lower income homes.  They educate homeowners on how to be more efficient and insulate their walls and fix air leaks and perform other modifications.  This helps families to conserve money and helps the community conserve energy.
