We’ve been passionate about growing delicious produce free of herbicides and pesticides and farming in a way that preserves our soil and environment. And we’ve made a sizable difference – bringing organic and natural food to thousands of tables over the years. But we knew one farm couldn’t do it all. So, we now work with some of the best organic and family farms and producers on the West Coast – folks we know and trust – to bring you wholesome, healthy, real food.

Edible Forest Gardens is a local non-profit organization that has put more than 35 Edible Forest Gardens in yards around Olympia over the past four years. They have done this using workshops where community volunteers and Evergreen students have had the opportunity to learn how to transform lawns into gardens through hands-on experience. They work with Evergreen teachers to offer permaculture learning experiences to interns and work study students.
By encouraging people to create gardens that supplement local food supplies, atmospheric CO2 emitted during transport of the food is cut out. CO2 is also taken up by the plants being cultivated.
