Skigreen is a project set up by the Bonneville Environmental Foundation that gives consumers the option of buying a carbon offset coupon to balance their carbon footprint of wintertime recreation. A purchase of a two dollar offset is enough to purchase 150 pounds of carbon in wind energy credits.

Is a group of snow sports professionals and industry leaders that are actively trying to raise awareness and educate members of the snow sports industry about the effects of climate change and how to personally mitigate them. The North West Chapter has been heavily critical of the local coal export proposals.
