Bodia Spa is one of earliest spas established in Phnom Penh, offering a range of Khmer massage treatments and using natural products.
Massage is a huge part of the culture of well-being in Southeast Asia, so of course I had to get one! A traditional Khmer massage works the body muscles and pressure points, without the intense pulling and stretching of a traditional Thai massage. This leaves you very relaxed, mentally and physically. They also used local organic essential oils (Tangerine, Lemongrass, Ginger, Ylang-Ylang, and Eucalyptus – many of which are used as tea in Cambodia, as well!) and local coffee beans from Rattanakiri (in the north of the country).
